Columbus High School SubSEM Photomechanical Film Experiment

The experiment plate passed its electrical tests and flew into space on Thursday, June 9th, 2005. Take a look at some of the pictures to see what NASA inspiration looks like...

A team of CHS students was notified in Febraury 2004 that they were one of four teams of high school students selected from across the country to bring their experiment to the NASA Wallops Flight Facility to launch their experiment aboard a NASA rocket.

The team, consisiting of Gily Raz, Ezra Taylor, Brianna Veenstra, and Philip Brooks, will go to Wallops in June 2005 to fly their experiment on a NASA suborbital rocket. The final contruction could not have been completed without the help of mentor Keith Warren.

How do you insure your output voltage is between 0 and 5 volts with a low impendance when your input can be between -11 and +11 volts?
